Reunion Island has just released their new line of Extra Bold coffee pods to the market. You might be wondering just exactly what they mean by Extra Bold.
Reunion Island Extra Bold coffee pods contain 12 grams of coffee, which is 25% more coffee than in their normal coffee pods. They are packaged 16 pods per box instead of the typical 18. Reunion Island has selected 5 of their already popular varieties for this new Extra Bold size:
- Colombia Las Hermosas
- SWP Decaffeinated Colombia Dark
- Rainforest Alliance Guatemala La Soledad
- Rainforest Alliance Guatemala La Soledad Dark
- Fair Trade & Organic Privateer Dark
A 12 gram pod will brew a much bolder cup at a normal 8 oz. drop size and it can also allow you to brew a larger 10 - 12 oz. cup of coffee if your brewer supports a larger drop size. Speaking of brewers, not all brewers are compatible with these large pods. We have tested and can guarantee compatibility with the following brewers:
- Bunn My Cafe
- Grindmaster OPOD w/Gourmet Pod Tray
- Cuisinart SS-1
- Cafe Invento
Others brewers may also work with these large 12 gram pods, but be aware they will not fit many brewers designed for smaller pods.
